🌑 MARCH 2026 NEW MOON IN PISCES

March 18, 2026 — New Moon in Pisces: Surrender, Intuition & Sacred Release

The March New Moon arrives in Pisces on March 18, offering a quiet moment of reflection after an intense eclipse season.

And this New Moon doesn't arrive at the beginning of Pisces.

It arrives near the end of the sign.

Pisces is the final sign of the zodiac, traditionally associated with intuition, dreams, compassion, imagination, spirituality, surrender, creativity, and the unseen dimensions of our experience.

There is something beautifully appropriate about meeting this New Moon here.

We have spent the beginning of 2026 restoring our emotional foundation, building structure, reclaiming visibility, questioning old patterns, and clearing what no longer works.

Now, before the astrological cycle begins again with Aries, we arrive at the threshold.

Not everything needs another push.

Not everything needs another plan.

Not everything needs to come with you.

This New Moon asks:

What are you willing to release so you don't carry an old cycle into a new one?

What This New Moon May Bring Into Focus

The March New Moon supports reflection around:

  • Intuition

  • Spiritual connection

  • Rest and restoration

  • Emotional release

  • Compassion

  • Dreams

  • Creativity

  • Forgiveness

  • Completion

  • Surrender

  • Trust

  • Energetic cleansing

  • What you cannot control

  • What you are ready to leave behind

  • Making space before beginning again

Pisces doesn't always give us an immediate answer.

Sometimes it asks us to become quiet enough to hear one.

What This New Moon Is Teaching You

1. Not Everything Needs to Be Forced

There is a difference between persistence and forcing.

Persistence says:

This matters to me, so I will continue tending to it.

Forcing says:

This must happen exactly the way I decided, on the timeline I decided, or something has gone wrong.

Sometimes the door isn't opening because you need another approach.

Sometimes the timing isn't right.

Sometimes you've outgrown what you're trying so hard to preserve.

And sometimes you simply don't have enough information yet.

Surrender doesn't mean giving up.

It means loosening your grip enough to recognize what else may be possible.

2. Intuition Needs Space

Your intuition has to compete with a lot.

Notifications.

Opinions.

Responsibilities.

Fear.

Social media.

Advice.

Predictions.

Other people's expectations.

Your own overthinking.

Then we wonder why we can't hear ourselves.

Intuition isn't always dramatic.

It may arrive as a quiet knowing.

A repeated thought.

A physical response.

A sense that something fits—or doesn't.

A truth that keeps returning after you've tried to reason yourself out of it.

Before asking for another sign, create enough silence to notice the information already available to you.

3. Release Doesn't Always Require Closure

Sometimes you will receive the apology.

The explanation.

The final conversation.

The missing information.

And sometimes you won't.

Closure can be beautiful when it comes.

But your healing cannot always depend on someone else providing it.

You are allowed to decide:

This no longer gets to occupy this much space in me.

You don't need to reopen every wound in order to release what it taught you.

4. Compassion Includes You

Some people are incredibly generous with grace.

For everyone except themselves.

You understand why someone else was struggling.

You recognize their circumstances.

You forgive their mistakes.

You remind them that they're human.

Then you turn inward and expect perfection.

Pisces invites compassion.

But compassion that never reaches you is incomplete.

Ask:

Would I speak to someone I love the way I speak to myself?

If the answer is no, there is work to do there too.

5. Endings Need Space

Our culture loves beginnings.

The announcement.

The launch.

The transformation.

The before and after.

But endings deserve ritual too.

Something can be complete without being a failure.

A relationship.

A season.

A business idea.

A dream.

A version of yourself.

A way of coping.

A belief.

A responsibility.

A role you once needed.

Before rushing toward the next beginning, honor what has ended.

Completion creates room.

Spiritual Hygiene Under the Pisces New Moon

Pisces is associated with sensitivity, intuition, and porousness, making this an important moment to notice what you've absorbed.

Not everything you're feeling necessarily originated with you.

You move through conversations.

Workplaces.

Family systems.

Social media.

News.

Clients.

Friends.

Crowds.

Digital spaces.

And all of it can affect your internal state.

Spiritual hygiene gives you a practice for returning to yourself.

Not because the world is dangerous.

Not because everyone carries “bad energy.”

But because regular clearing helps you notice the difference between:

What is mine?

and

What have I been carrying?

Before setting intentions under this New Moon, give yourself permission to clear first.

Start with the bath.

Featured Ritual: The Surrender & Energetic Reset Bath

For this New Moon, we're working with water intentionally.

Pisces is a water sign, and water offers an intuitive symbol for cleansing, movement, release, and surrender.

You may use your own cleansing bath practice or The Regal Phoenix CLEANSE Ritual Bath.

Before You Begin

Take a piece of paper.

Write:

I am ready to stop carrying…

Finish the sentence as many times as necessary.

You might write:

An expectation.

A disappointment.

A relationship.

A fear.

A responsibility.

A version of yourself.

An outcome you've been trying to control.

Don't analyze the list.

Just tell the truth.

Then choose one thing that feels most complete.

Circle it.

Say:

I acknowledge what this taught me. I no longer need to carry it in the same way.

Prepare Your Bath

Run your bath at a comfortable temperature and add your cleansing bath mixture.

If you work with crystals, you may place Amethyst, Clear Quartz, Selenite, or another stone associated with your personal spiritual practice near the bath.

Keep crystals outside the water unless you know they are water-safe.

Dim the lights.

Reduce noise.

Put your phone somewhere you cannot reach it.

Before entering the bath, take three slow breaths.

As You Soak

Close your eyes.

Notice how the water supports your body without asking anything from you.

You don't have to visualize perfectly.

You don't have to manufacture an emotional breakthrough.

You don't have to receive a message.

Just be there.

When you're ready, say:

I release what is complete.

I surrender what I cannot control.

I return what is not mine.

I trust myself to recognize what belongs with me.

I make space for what comes next.

My energy belongs to me.

Then stop talking.

Let silence become part of the ritual.

If emotions rise, allow them.

If nothing happens, that's okay too.

Spiritual practice doesn't have to produce a dramatic experience to be meaningful.

When you're ready to finish, watch the water drain.

Imagine what you have released moving with it.

Then say:

It is complete.

Other Ways to Work With This New Moon

Sit in Silence Before Asking for Guidance

Before pulling a card.

Before opening an astrology app.

Before searching for another interpretation.

Before asking someone else what they think.

Sit quietly for ten minutes.

Then write:

What do I already know?

You may be surprised by what appears when you stop outsourcing the answer.

Create a Dream Practice

If dreams are part of your spiritual practice, place a notebook beside your bed.

Before sleeping, say:

I am open to remembering what is useful for me to remember.

When you wake, write whatever you recall before reaching for your phone.

A dream doesn't automatically contain a prophecy or message.

Sometimes dreams are simply dreams.

But recurring themes, emotions, or imagery may still offer something worth reflecting on.

Approach them with curiosity rather than certainty.

Practice Compassionate Release

Write the name of something—or someone—you are struggling to release.

Then write:

I can honor what this meant without requiring it to remain.

You don't need to make the past terrible in order to leave it behind.

Some things were beautiful and still ended.

Both can be true.

Cleanse Through Sound

Use a singing bowl, chimes, tuning fork, gong, music, clapping, or your own voice.

Move slowly through your space.

Let sound reach corners and areas that feel stagnant.

Then sit quietly when you're finished.

Notice how the room feels.

Sound can be part of spiritual hygiene without requiring fear or elaborate ceremony.

Create Before You Interpret

Pisces is deeply connected with imagination and creativity.

Give yourself twenty minutes to make something.

Write.

Paint.

Sing.

Play an instrument.

Move.

Design.

Daydream.

Don't ask what it means.

Don't post it.

Don't monetize it.

Don't evaluate it.

Create first.

Meaning can come later.

Meditation: Returning What Is Not Yours

Find somewhere comfortable.

Close your eyes.

Take a slow breath in.

Exhale completely.

Imagine yourself standing beside a calm body of water.

It can be an ocean.

A lake.

A river.

Whatever appears naturally.

Notice that you're holding a container.

Inside it are all the things you've been carrying.

Expectations.

Responsibilities.

Other people's opinions.

Old conversations.

Fear.

Regret.

Pressure.

You don't need to identify everything.

Walk toward the water.

Take one thing from the container.

Ask:

Is this mine to carry?

If the answer feels like no, place it gently into the water.

Watch it move away.

Choose another.

Ask again.

Continue slowly.

There is no rush.

When you reach something that feels like it belongs with you, keep it.

This isn't about releasing everything.

It's about discernment.

Eventually, notice that the container feels lighter.

Place your hand over your heart.

Say:

I release what is not mine.

I honor what remains.

I trust myself to know the difference.

Take three slow breaths.

Return your awareness to your body.

Open your eyes.

Message From the New Moon

You don't have to drag every ending into your next beginning.

Some things have already taught you what they came to teach.

Some answers will arrive when you stop demanding them.

Some doors can close without becoming wounds.

Release.

Listen.

Rest.

You cannot receive what comes next while insisting on carrying everything that came before.
