šŸŒ• SEPTEMBER 2026 FULL MOON IN ARIES

September 26, 2026 — Full Moon in Aries: Self-Trust, Courage & the Right to Choose

The September Full Moon arrives in Aries on September 26, illuminating our relationship with independence, courage, desire, self-advocacy, anger, action, and the right to make choices for our own lives.

Aries is traditionally associated with initiative, independence, courage, instinct, action, and the willingness to move.

Opposite the Aries Moon sits the Sun in Libra.

Aries asks:

What do I want?

Libra asks:

How does what I want affect the people I'm connected to?

Neither question is more spiritual than the other.

Relationships require consideration.

But consideration is not the same as self-erasure.

Independence matters.

But independence is not the same as refusing to consider anyone else.

The Aries–Libra axis asks us to find the place where self-respect and relationship can coexist.

This Full Moon asks:

Where have you been waiting for permission to choose what you already know you want?

What This Full Moon May Bring Into Focus

The September Full Moon may bring attention to:

  • Independence

  • Self-trust

  • Courage

  • Desire

  • Decision-making

  • Anger

  • Frustration

  • Resentment

  • Self-advocacy

  • Leadership

  • Initiative

  • Boundaries

  • Relationships

  • Compromise

  • People-pleasing

  • Conflict avoidance

  • Where you've been waiting for permission

  • Where you've been overly reactive

  • Where you've been silencing yourself to maintain harmony

  • Where your choices affect other people

  • What you're ready to decide

Aries reminds us that sometimes clarity arrives when we stop asking everyone else what they think and finally ask:

What do I think?

What This Full Moon Is Teaching You

1. Anger Is Information

Anger gets a bad reputation.

Especially when you've been taught that being spiritual means always being calm.

Or forgiving.

Or understanding.

Or unbothered.

But anger is an emotion.

It can tell you something.

Maybe a boundary was crossed.

Maybe you're exhausted.

Maybe something feels unfair.

Maybe you've been saying yes when you mean no.

Maybe you're grieving.

Maybe you're afraid.

Maybe you've been ignored.

Maybe you're simply frustrated.

Anger doesn't automatically mean you're right.

And feeling angry doesn't give you permission to harm someone.

But suppressing anger doesn't make you more evolved either.

Ask:

What is my anger trying to bring to my attention?

Then decide what you want to do with that information.

2. You Don't Need Permission for Every Decision

Some decisions require collaboration.

If you're sharing finances, parenting, running a business with partners, making commitments that affect other people, or participating in a relationship, your choices may require conversation.

But some decisions belong to you.

What you wear.

What you believe.

What you create.

What you study.

How you spend your free time.

What you no longer tolerate.

What you want your life to become.

Sometimes we ask for advice when what we're actually asking for is permission.

Notice the difference.

Ask:

Do I need input—or am I afraid to trust my own decision?

3. Compromise Shouldn't Make You Disappear

Libra reminds us that relationships require consideration.

Aries reminds us that you still exist inside the relationship.

Compromise means two or more people participate in finding a workable solution.

It doesn't mean one person consistently gives up what matters so conflict can be avoided.

Ask:

Am I compromising—or am I surrendering because disagreement makes me uncomfortable?

There is a difference.

Healthy relationships can survive differences.

4. Courage Can Be Quiet

Courage isn't always dramatic.

Sometimes courage looks like:

Sending the email.

Making the appointment.

Saying no.

Asking the question.

Admitting you changed your mind.

Leaving the room.

Starting over.

Applying anyway.

Having the conversation.

Trying something you're not good at yet.

Stopping something you've outgrown.

Telling someone what you actually need.

You don't have to feel fearless.

You simply have to decide whether fear gets the final vote.

5. Action and Reaction Are Not the Same

Aries is associated with movement.

But movement isn't automatically progress.

Sometimes reacting quickly feels powerful because you're doing something.

Sending the text.

Posting the response.

Quitting immediately.

Arguing.

Making the decision while angry.

Proving the point.

But speed doesn't automatically make something courageous.

Before reacting, ask:

What outcome do I actually want?

Then:

Will this action move me toward it?

Sometimes the boldest move is immediate.

Sometimes it's waiting until you can choose instead of react.

Spiritual Hygiene Under the Aries Full Moon

Your energy needs somewhere to go.

Frustration that never gets acknowledged can show up as irritability, resentment, tension, arguments, overworking, impulsive decisions, or exhaustion.

Spiritual hygiene isn't about cleansing anger out of yourself as though anger makes you spiritually dirty.

It means giving your emotions somewhere intentional to move.

Walk.

Stretch.

Dance.

Cry.

Journal.

Clean.

Exercise.

Take a bath.

Play your bowls.

Sit quietly.

Talk to someone you trust.

Address the actual problem.

Set the boundary.

Have the conversation.

And sometimes:

Eat.

Sleep.

Drink some water.

Step away from your phone.

Not every emotional shift requires a spiritual explanation.

Your body has needs too.

Before deciding you need an energetic cleansing, ask:

What actually happened?

What am I feeling?

What does this situation require from me?

Then choose your practice accordingly.

Featured Ritual: The Self-Trust & Boundary Bath

Start with the bath.

For this Full Moon, we're working with The Regal Phoenix PROTECT Ritual Bath.

Not because someone else's energy is controlling you.

Not because conflict automatically means you need protection.

We're working with protection as containment.

The ability to know what belongs to you.

Your decisions.

Your boundaries.

Your values.

Your time.

Your attention.

Your responsibility.

And what belongs to someone else.

Their reaction.

Their disappointment.

Their opinion.

Their interpretation.

Their decision.

Before You Begin

Take a piece of paper and create two headings:

MY CHOICE

and

NOT MY CONTROL

Under My Choice, write what actually belongs to you.

Maybe:

Whether I say yes.

Whether I have the conversation.

Whether I apply.

Whether I leave.

Whether I begin.

Whether I apologize.

Whether I set the boundary.

Whether I tell the truth.

Under Not My Control, write:

Whether they agree.

Whether they understand.

Whether they approve.

Whether they change.

Whether they choose me.

Whether they apologize.

Whether they respond the way I hoped.

Look at both lists.

Then ask:

Where have I been giving someone else's reaction authority over my decision?

Prepare Your Bath

Run your bath at a comfortable temperature and add your PROTECT bath mixture.

If you work with crystals, place Carnelian, Tiger's Eye, Black Tourmaline, or another stone associated with your intention near the bath.

Keep crystals outside the water unless you know they are water-safe.

Remove distractions.

Before entering, say:

I honor what belongs to me and release what does not.

As You Soak

Take several slow breaths.

Bring one decision, boundary, or situation to mind.

Ask:

What do I actually want?

Don't immediately explain why.

Don't defend it.

Don't justify it.

Just answer.

Then ask:

What responsibility comes with this choice?

Because self-trust isn't simply doing what you want.

It's being willing to take responsibility for the choices you make.

Say:

I trust myself to make thoughtful decisions.

I honor my desires without making them someone else's responsibility.

I can consider others without abandoning myself.

I allow anger to inform me without allowing it to control me.

I protect my time, attention, and energy.

I accept that other people are allowed to have reactions to my choices.

I choose courage over constant permission-seeking.

My energy belongs to me.

Sit quietly.

Then ask:

What is mine to do now?

Choose one action.

Other Ways to Work With This Moon

Move the Energy

Give your body somewhere to put excess energy.

Walk quickly.

Dance.

Stretch.

Exercise.

Clean.

Shake your arms and legs.

Move intentionally.

You don't have to interpret everything you're feeling before allowing your body to move through it.

Have the Conversation You've Been Rehearsing

If you've had the same imaginary conversation twenty times, decide whether the real one needs to happen.

If it does, identify what you actually need to communicate.

Not every historical detail.

Not every accusation.

The point.

What happened.

How it affected you.

What you need now.

Then speak.

Practice a Clean No

Say:

No, I can't do that.

Then stop.

You can be kind without turning your boundary into a closing argument.

Notice how much explanation you normally add because you're trying to control the other person's response.

Make One Decision Without Polling Everyone

Choose something that genuinely belongs to you.

Make the decision.

You can gather necessary information.

But don't collect ten opinions because you're afraid to own the answer.

Practice trusting yourself.

Examine Resentment

Write:

I resent…

Finish the sentence honestly.

Then ask:

What expectation, boundary, need, or conversation is underneath this resentment?

The answer may not mean someone else has done something wrong.

Sometimes resentment grows around commitments we agreed to but no longer want.

That's useful information too.

Take One Brave Action

Choose something you've been postponing because it makes you uncomfortable.

Make the call.

Submit the application.

Publish the work.

Set the appointment.

Ask.

Begin.

Not because the Moon guarantees the outcome.

Because you've decided the action is worth taking.

Meditation: Returning to Your Own Voice

Sit somewhere comfortable.

Close your eyes.

Take a slow breath in.

Exhale completely.

Imagine yourself standing in a room filled with voices.

Advice.

Expectations.

Opinions.

Warnings.

Suggestions.

People telling you what they would do.

People telling you what you should do.

You don't have to make the voices disappear.

Instead, imagine slowly turning their volume down.

Lower.

Lower.

Until they become background noise.

Now notice one voice remaining.

Yours.

Ask:

What do I want?

Wait.

Don't force an answer.

If something comes, notice it.

Then ask:

What am I afraid will happen if I choose it?

Notice that too.

Take a breath.

Say:

I can listen to others without losing myself.

I can consider consequences without surrendering my choice.

I can make a decision without controlling everyone's reaction.

Imagine yourself placing one hand over your heart.

Take another breath.

Say:

I hear myself.

I trust myself.

I will take responsibility for what I choose.

Take three slow breaths.

Return your awareness to your body.

Open your eyes.

Message From the Full Moon

You don't need to become selfish to choose yourself.

You don't need to become aggressive to tell the truth.

You don't need everyone to agree before you move.

And you don't need to silence yourself to keep every relationship comfortable.

Listen.

Choose.

Speak.

Act.

Self-trust isn't believing every impulse is right. It's knowing you can listen to yourself, consider what matters, make a choice, and take responsibility for what comes next.
