How to cleanse your crystals?
After you receive your crystals, it's important that you cleanse it to clear the energy of the many hands that touched it before you. We recommend running a new crystal under cool water and then placing it outside under the sun for a few hours. Next, light some Sage, Sweet grass or Palo Santo and pass the crystal through the smoke. A few times is enough. This is known as smudging.
You can also cleanse your crystals by placing them on a selenite bar or plate.
How to program a crystal?
Before you begin, make sure you create your sacred space. The cleansing process should already be complete.
To program a crystal for specific use or with specific energies, hold the crystal in front of you, clear your mind and focus on the stone. Concentrate on the specific energy that you wish to program the crystal with, and 'transmit' the energies and thoughts from your mind into the stone. Make sure you are focused and clear when doing this. You don't want to confuse or overload the crystal with different thoughts and energies. You are done once you feel happy that the required thoughts and energies have been transmitted to the stone.
How to set intentions?
An intention is a guiding principle for how you want to be, live, and show up in the world. Intentions help us invite a specific energy or goal into our life by setting aside time to focus on them. Setting intentions help you to connect with the energy of your crystals or jewelry to help bring your goals or mental shifts to life.
Your intention should be closely tied to your personal thoughts, values and perspective on life. Intentions can be a clear and specific wish, or as simple as a word or phrase you’d like to align yourself with, like “open your mind and heart,” “love,” “softness,” “strength,” “compassion for myself and others,” “peace,” or “freedom.”
